Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said on Tuesday that Government has decided to extend the one time settlement scheme by three months for the resolution of the pre-GST (Goods and Services Tax) tax disputes worth Rs. 604.84 crore as the last date for filing of applications was 25 th March. Moreover, it has also reduced the settlement amount. The CM added that “As per the OTS scheme, the traders concerned will have to pay 35% of the disputed tax amount, along with 10% of the interest and penalty charged on the disputed tax amount.”
