GST and GAAR reporting in income tax returns have been delayed. For the third time, Central Board of Direct Taxes, has deferred the requirement for companies to include in their I-T audit report the details of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and GAAR. This deferment has been kept in abeyance till 31st March, 2021. In the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, tax authorities have been proactively announcing the relaxation in compliance and reporting obligations for businesses.
