Government rolls out facility of filing of Nil GST return through SMS

In order to make the compliances easier under GST, the government has finally announced the filing of Nil GST monthly return in FORM GSTR-3B through SMS. Over 22 lakhs registered taxpayers are going to be benefitted by this functionality. This functionality has been made available with immediate effect. Also the status of the filed return can be checked through sending an SMS.
