Punjab CM Amarinder Singh has said that new Agricultural Acts will be a non-starter as farmers are not happy. At this time, no private trader or investor is going to venture in the mandis. He has asked his advocate general to challenge the Acts in court. He further said that they cannot trust Centre who has let down all so badly in GST. He said that agriculture was a state subject and centre cannot encroach.
