GST E-invoicing Mandatory from October 1 for Firms with Annual Turnover of Over Rs 500 Crore

With GST E-invoicing starting from October 1, the Government is in no further mood to give relaxation to companies with this decision. However, industry representatives have asked the Centre to make it voluntary compliance rather than a mandatory one. Earlier the date for implementation was 1.4.2020 but then Centre notified October 1,2020 as the revised date.
