Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu have faced GST decline in the first quarter of the current financial year compared to the same period last year. The Andhra Pradesh and Kerala have faced 46% decline and Tamil nadu has faced 45%. Telengana’s fall has been the least decline at 35%. The Karnataka state had dropped by 37%. But the maximum fall has been faced by Gujarat state at 48% among the industrialist states. The senior financial department official had said that the GST revenue has started gaining since May 2020.
