The income tax department has conducted surveys at premises of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Ltd since an investigation was going on by the Directorate General of GST Intelligence. It is alleged that both companies have availed fake ITC against bogus billing. The survey was conducted over 15 locations in the Mumbai and Chennai offices of the companies under Section 133A of the Income Tax Act.
