Thomas Isaac, Kerala FM had said that he is going to discuss lowering the e-invoice threshold for the gold and jewellery trade at next meeting. The other members of the GoM are FMs of Gujarat, Punjab and Bihar. Isaac had said that state government should be able to keep a track of all the transactions done by gems and jewellery tradeto eliminate revenue loss. He has further said that since all the modalities are examined, the proposal shall be put forward to the GST Council.
