The due date for filing of GST Annual Return for F.Y 2019-20 has bee extended to March 31, 2021. Demands were made to extend the due date because of pandemic and the due dated for FY 2018-19 was 31st December. GSTR9C is to be filed by those taxpayers whose turnover is above Rs.2Crore. the late fee for non-filing of GSTR-9 is Rs.100 per day per Act. This is subject to a maximum of 0.25 per cent of the taxpayer’s turnover in the relevant state or union territory.
