A director has been arrested and sent to judicial custody till 4th January, 2021. North Chennai GST principal commissioner Ravindranath in a news release said that an investigation was conducted and evidence were collected. In alliance with fictitious companies, he has received bogus invoices without actual supply of goods or services. He has fraudulently committed GST fraud of Rs.26Crore on the invoice value of Rs 150 crore, the release further said.
