Non-BJP-ruled States and those ruled by the Opposition parties have called for a reordering of the GST distribution framework. They have said that distribution of taxes under GST should be in the ratio of 60:40 i.e. 60% for states and 40% for Centre. Kerala Finance Minister Thomas Isaac said that if Centre gives a commitment then state governments can sit across table and discuss the rest.
