A GST fraud of fake input tax credit around Rs.15Crore has been busted by Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Division. Rohtak CGST Commissioner VM Jain had conducted an inquiry and found that firm M/s HS Trading Company does not exist at given address. Assistant Commissioner Sachin Ahlawat said it was noticed goods having ITC worth Rs.15crores was shown with taxable value more than Rs.85crore and fraudulently credit had been passed. A CGST official has said that the firm was registered for child garment business but invoices were issued related to iron scrap and ingot.
