The state of Tamil Nadu has received about Rs3,193 crore as Goods and Services Tax (GST) compensation due for the period December 2019 to February 2020. In April, the state had received around ₹1,393 crore as GST compensation. The state had also received its share of Central taxes to the tune of ₹1,900 crore. In last two months , the state had received about ₹15,033 crore in the form of grants-in-aid and the State’s share in Central taxes.
