After the GST Council Meeting whereby Centre had offered two options to the states, the Kerala government had called it ‘unacceptable’ step of the Centre. Kerala FM had said in both these options, the States will have to sacrifice a part of the compensation. According to Centre, the total shortfall amounts to Rs.2.35 lakh crore.
