The Andhra Pradesh government has urged to the Centre to pay full GST Compensation amounting to Rs  4,500 crore till August-end this year.Otherwise, the state will choose option 1 out of the two options given by government. A senior official has informed that although Option 1 will not provide a complete solution but it is better than Option 2. Other than Andhra Pradesh, 11 states ruled by NDA government have decided to opt for option 1.
