The Tamil Nadu Lorry Owners Association had staged a protest to demand to bring diesel under GST. The President of Lorry Association had told that it has become difficult to operate due to hike in diesel prices. He had further said that increasing diesel price during pandemic would not only create trouble for lorry drivers but to everyone. He had also informed that they are sending their bills along with halwa to the Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas DharmendraPradhan to make him realise the problems suffered by them.
