The Government has said on Wednesday that companies that are still not prepared for generating GST e-invoices are given a last chance to avoid penalty and regularise their invoices. The CBIC said that e-invoicing was to be started from December last year but was extended to October 1 considering the hardships faced by businesses. “It may be noted that no such relaxation would be available for the invoices issued from 1 November,” said the statement.
