Recently, two lawyers have approached Supreme Court seeking petition for providing relief medical facilities, food and shelter for all citizens, irrespective of their financial or religious status. They also put emphasis on the tax payers suffering during the 21-day lockdown put in place to check coronavirus spread. The advocates had asked for release of Rs.10,000to all the income tax assesses of the country as a short-term loan. The advocate also suggested waiver of GST , custom and IGST on healthcare products.
