The Finance Ministry had taken a strict action against the ‘risky exporters’ whose GST refunds are not untraceable. According to sources, 1,474 risky exporters had claimed IGST worth Rs.2020Crore and when verified they were not available at the mentioned addresses. As per sources, there are 1125 untraceable exporters from Delhi state alone. Other exporters have been identified at Surat (215), Thane (28), Faridabad (15) and Kolkata (11).
