Due to adverse effect of COVID-19, FMSitharaman might announce measures for boosting of economy. The FM had meeting with four Ministries – Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries, Civil Aviation, Tourism (including hospitality) — which have been affected by the COVID-19. There is proposal for tax relief under GST. Since MSME has been highly affected there is demand that some wage support could be given to workers engaged in these enterprises. However, people are awaiting the report of Task Force under the Chairmanship of Finance Minister.
