Government extends amnesty scheme for pre-GST era taxes by 15 days

The Government has extended the deadline for sabka vishwas scheme for 15 days i.e. till 15^th January, 2020. An official has said that the scheme launched by the government has received a huge response. Almost 73% of the total eligible taxpayers availing the scheme and have committed to pay tax dues of ₹30,627 crore, said the statement. It is said that 1.33 lakhs application has been submitted on Tuesday. The declared tax dues involve Rs.69,550 crore and after availing relied the tax payable is Rs.30627 crore. Sabka Vishwas is received by taxpayers as the most beneficial dispute resolution scheme ever announced by the government,” said the statement.
