The CBIC has notified that GST e-invoicing is mandatory from January 1, 2021 for firms whose turnover exceeds Rs 100 crore. Earlier the limit was Rs.500Crore. this will bring large number of medium enterprises under GST e-invoicing regime. It is expected that it will be made available to all taxpayers for B2B transactionsfrom 1st April 2021.
