GSTIN portal is now able to handle taxpayer traffic to up to three lakh users at a time. Earlier it was 1.5. lakhs. According to an official statement, “The GSTN Portal now successfully handles almost double the taxpayer traffic for return filing immediately after lockdown. It has been made possible as the GST infra has been upgraded to handle up to three lakh concurrent logged-in users at a time.” It is further said that if needed, GSTN can scale up to 5 lakhs.
