A survey was conducted by the Retailers Association of India (RAI) between June 1 and June 15 over 100 retailers. It showed that retailers in malls reported a 77% year-on-year dip in business in the first 15 days of the month. Home delivery through e-commerce platforms has become safer for consumers during lockdown and this has created problems for MSMEs. As GST mandates registrations for all those who sell through e-commerce, this has created trouble for MSMEs.
