The Jharkhand Chief Minister Soren had requested PM for secure return of migrants to their native state after the train mishap in which sixteen workers had died. He had also raised the issue of GST Compensation to the state in the wake of crises faced due to lockdown. He had also reiterated on the ways to strengthen the COVID-19 containment strategy and stepping up of economic activities in a calibrated manner as the 54-day nationwide lockdown nears an end.Also, he had asked for giving special powers to the state government to impose special tax on mining.
