One of India’s biggest textile body, Northern India Textile Mills’ Association (Nitma) held a meeting with Ravi Capoor secretary textiles, Government of India, to discuss the critical issues concerning the textile sector. The major issue included the anomaly in the FTA (free trade agreement) with Indonesia and Vietnam, which is leading to closure of MSME (micro, small, and medium enterprises) scale spinning mills.” The Nitma delegation comprised President Sanjay Garg and he has said that it might be difficult to make the changes in the Asean agreement, and it may also take a little longer to review the current Asean trade agreement.”
