Many associations under the banner of ‘Business Bachao Morcha’ (BBM) came on streets starting a rally against corrupt officials of the GST Department. They have announced to form a ‘hockey brigade’ against the corruption and will continue to stand against the corrupt officials. This move is initiated by the traders after the GST officials had conducted a raid at a hosiery unit and a false case had been registered against the hosiery trader and a chartered accountant. The protest was joined by the Akalgarh Market Shopkeepers’ Association, Beopar Mandal, Talab Mandir Road Shopkeeper Association, Steel Association, Pink Plaza Market Association, Subhani Building Scooter Market Association, Books Market Association, Dal Bazaar Association, Wait Ganj Shopkeepers’ Association, New Madhopuri Hosiery Association, Kirpal Nagar Hosiery Association and New Gur Mandi Shopkeepers’ Association, among others.
