The Toyota Kirloskar Motor has postponed the launch of hybrid version of some of its models due to COVID and high GST rate. TheToyota Kirloskar vice-chairman, Shekar Viswanathan told BusinessLine that GST rate of 43 per cent makes it costlier for end-customers. He had stated that frequent lockdown of plants because of the coronavirus cases among workers can disturb the production cycle.
