Due to raising concerns in GST tax regime, traders’ association has called for a traders’ strike on February 26. CAIT has called it a ‘Bharat Vyapar Bandh’ against “draconian and arbitrary provisions” of GST. Statement from CAIT said that “It shows the high level of gross resentment in people of the country against current state of GST which is called as ‘good and simple tax’, much away from the ground reality.” CAIT said that even after four years of implementation, the portal suffers through various glitches.
